Racing For A Cure 2015

We were very impressed with Racing For A Cure 2015! The cars, the people and the event itself were truly phenomenal!

We were excited to see over half the field made up of ZR Auto customers. Way to go, guys!

This year the event supported The Kids with Cancer society and The Autism Society of Edmonton.

From a McLaren P1 to the ZR Lamborghini Murcielago LP750-4 SV, VF Engineering Audi R8 and many more, the cars were truly top-notch! Check out some of our photos from the event!

Driven 2015 Recap

On May 23, 2015 we were at the Olympic Oval displaying 21 supercars at the 14th annual Driven aftermarket tuning show.

Our impressive display of cars featured some of the latest ZR Auto creations, including a mix of shop cars and customers' cars from all over Alberta and Saskatchewan.

ZR Auto's SoCal Tour 2015!

It's no secret, we love cars and we love driving! At ZR Auto we're much more than just a performance shop, we're a lifestyle!

Right now we're in Southern California enjoying the sunny weather and the fantastic roads in a caravan of incredible automobiles!

We started in Palm Springs, California, and headed straight for the Thermal Racetrack in Thermal, California. With a few hot-laps under our belts, we headed onward to San Diego, California.

Over the next few days we'll be visiting Beverly Hills, Santa Barbara and finally, Las Vegas!

Along the way we'll be exploring the locale and enjoying what each destination city has to offer.

In our ZR Auto group we have a Ferrari 458 Spider, Lamborghini Diablo, Lamborghini Gallardo LP560-4, Lamborghini Huracan, Porsche 911 Edition 918 Spyder and Heffner Twin Turbo Lamborghini Gallardo.

It's been a fun journey so far! Enjoying adventures like this with our customers is absolutely incredible! Seeing them enjoy their cars and experiencing the camaraderie is like nothing else on this planet!

Techart Porsche 911 GT2RS Ready For the Highway!

Our Porsche 911 Turbo has seen many different looks over the years, but this one has to be our favourite! 

Wearing a Techart body kit consisting of the front and rear bumper, side skirts, rear wing, front splitter and mono-bloc wheels, this 911 is already unique, but we wanted something with a bit more of a punch!

We decided to go with a simpler theme this year and gave the white Porsche some sexy red graphics in GT2RS livery.

It's a lot more subtle a design than this car has worn over the past few years, but it looks absolutely perfect!

As for performance upgrades, the Porsche has been upgrades with a 3600 cc Twin Turbo DOHC Flat 6 motor featuring performance Sportec Turbos, remapped for 20+ PSI of boost, fully built block and heads, modified cams, custom intercoolers, upgraded injectors, high-flow stainless exhaust system and upgraded wastegates and blow-off valves. 

As it stands now, the Porsche 996 boasts 714hp and can go from 0-100 km/h in 3.3 seconds with a top speed of 335 km/h.

Ferrari F40 LM-Spec Getting Major Service Work

We're getting ready to take on a massive project in the next few days. Our Ferrari F40 LM-Spec is due for a major servicing, meaning the motor is going to come out, the fluids will be changed, all moving parts will be lubricated and looked after, brakes will be redone, steering components checked and all of the mechanical components given an overhaul.

It's no easy task, but we pride ourselves in being experts in all things supercar related. Our team has trained with exotic car manufacturers as well as aftermarket tuners like Edo Competition, IMSA, Heffner Performance, Kleeman, Techart and more.

When our F40 has been serviced, we're going to refresh its look with a new vinyl wrap. It's been sporting this tri-colour design for the past two years, and we're big on changing things up!

We're excited to get this incredible machine back in order for Spring so we can get it back on the road where it belongs.
