The Ferrari F40 you've been dreaming about is now for sale!

The iconic Ferrari F40, one of the last true sports cars. The rawness of this car captivated enthusiasts and Ferrari owners alike in 1987. Many still argue that it's the best and most sought-after supercar built to date. Aside from the Lamborghini Countach, the F40 was the most common car to appear on the bedroom walls of aspiring supercar owners.

As the successor to the Ferrari 288 GTO, it was designed to celebrate Ferrari's 40th anniversary and was the last Ferrari automobile personally approved by the great Enzo Ferrari. At the time it was the fastest, most powerful, and most expensive car that Ferrari sold to the public.

With 1,311 Ferrari F40s produced in its nine-year run, it's rare to even see one, let alone have the opportunity to buy one.

This special F40, titled and specced for the U.S. market, was brought into Canada by ZR Auto's own Zahir Rana in 1997. The one-owner red beauty, a 1992 model, was one of the last F40s built, making it one of the most mechanically-sound and sought-after models.

From the outside, this incredible Ferrari F40 is distinguishable from the standard American-spec model. With its Euro-spec front-end conversion, magnesium speed line 18” wheels and Michelotto LM-spec rear wing, it certainly stands out from the crowd. Aside from these features, this F40 remains factory pristine.

On the performance side, this F40 has been upgraded to LM-spec by Edo Competition, pushing out nearly 545 hp and 465 lb ft of torque at 29 psi.

Mechanical upgrades include a 2936 cc Twin Turbo 32 valve courtesy of LM-Spec IHI turbos (by Ferrari Motorsports), mapped for 29 psi.

A high-flow stainless Tubi exhaust system, upgraded Tial wastegates and blow-off valves, dry sumped lubrication system,Weber-Marelli upgraded injectors and Tubi exhaust round off the F40's impressive performance package.

On the inside, this rare Ferrari comes with LM-spec seats, complimenting the factory interior.

Sitting on the lightweight Speedline wheels are Hoosier R6 R-compound tires, measuring 13” x 18” 335/30zr18 on the rear and 9“ x18” 245/35 zr18 on the front. 

Providing the stopping power for this road-hungry machine are massive four-piston Brembo vented & cross-drilled brake rotors, measuring 355mm on the front and 355mm on the rear.

 With an asking price of $1.295 Million USD, this one-owner Ferrari F40 is certainly well-priced for the market. With only 15,400 miles on the odometer and an active title, this F40 is certain to impress its next owner.

Also included with the car are the stock 17” Ferrari wheels along with another set of 17" HRE wheels.

The Ferrari F40 has been kept in a heated showroom and has been meticulously serviced since day 1. All service records are available. It had a brand new clutch installed recently, with zero miles on it. This car is absolutely perfect, and ready to go. The car is cleared for worldwide sale, and can be registered anywhere in the world.

Transforming an ordinary Lamborghini Gallardo into something special!

What happens when you get bored of your car? That's where ZR Auto comes in!

This completely stock 2004 Lamborghini Gallardo from Lethbridge, Alberta, recently came in for some major upgrades, and we're excited to share the transformation with you.

Let's face it, we're known for turning factory show-stoppers into absolute neck-breakers. This Gallardo is going to be no exception! 

First we removed the brake calipers and painted them in-house. We did the same for the engine plenum too. No more boring black!

Next we tinted the headlights, taillights and the windows, including a tint strip on the windshield. Now comes the exciting part!

Our graphics team is currently turning this factory silver Gallardo into a sinister matte black monster! We've also got some black ADV.1 wheels ready to install.

To give the car some exciting personality, we also added a Superleggera style rear carbon wing. The car is almost done, and we're excited to unleash this fantastic refreshed Gallardo back onto the streets of Lethbridge!

Last weekend we took a scenic drive from Calgary to Banff to celebrate the success of the Driven show. We invited all those involved with the ZR Auto booth for brunch at the Banff Springs hotel and of course to enjoy our cars on the open road.

With a group of 18 supercars, we drew a lot of looks en route to the mountain castle resort.

From the white Lamborghini Murcielago SV from Edmonton to our very own golden bull, we had a great array of supercars join us for a day out in the mountains.

Driven 2015 Recap

On May 23, 2015 we were at the Olympic Oval displaying 21 supercars at the 14th annual Driven aftermarket tuning show.

Ferrari 458 Italia aero kit by Prior Design

 Our partners at Prior Design have developed something truly special with this insane Ferrari 458 Italia.

Ferrari California T by Novitec Rosso

NOVITEC ROSSO tuning for the new Ferrari California T An extra 63.3 kW / 86 hp, 323 km/h and sporty accessories. Engine tuning to deliver an additional 63.3 kW / 86 hp that give the two-seat car a top speed of 323 km/h, and a wide range of sporty options for the bodywork, suspension and interior: NOVITEC ROSSO, the leading global refinement specialist for the sports cars from Maranello, now also offers tuning for the new Ferrari California T. The new 3.8-liter eight-cylinder twin-turbo engine provides the perfect starting point for powerful tuning.

The NOVITEC ROSSO engine technicians developed a new performance kit for the California T that unleashes the hidden reserves of this engine without compromising its durability. Extensive series of tests were conducted to develop special mapping for the two NOVITEC ROSSO N-TRONIC plug-and-play modules, which are adapted to the electronic engine management system of the vehicle. As a result, the tuned V8 develops an impressive 475 kW / 646 hp at a low 7,400 rpm and produces its peak torque of 856 Nm at a low 4,600 rpm - 101 Nm more than the stock engine!

Performance on the road benefits accordingly: the tuned two-seater sprints to 100 km/h in just 3.3 seconds. Top speed jumps to 323 km/h. On the road, the NOVITEC ROSSO power upgrade not only delivers better performance, but also even more instantaneous throttle response and even more in-gear pulling power. As the perfect complement to the engine tuning, NOVITEC ROSSO sells various versions of precisely calibrated stainless-steel high-performance exhaust systems for the new Ferrari California T. The version offering sound management by means of actively controlled butterfly valve is available with the NOVITEC ROSSO SWITCHTRONIC feature, which allows regulating the sound between subtly quiet and powerfully sporty by radio remote from inside the cockpit. In addition to more power, NOVITEC ROSSO of course also offers refinement options for the bodywork, suspension and cockpit.



The appearance of the two-seater is upgraded with a sporty-elegant aerodynamic-enhancement kit, which is optionally available with a clear-coated carbon-fiber finish. The shape of the NOVITEC ROSSO front spoiler was optimized in the wind tunnel and lends the front-engine sports car an even more dynamic profile. What's more: its sophisticated design also reduces lift on the front axle, which in turn optimizes directional stability at high speeds.



Tailor-made inserts for the two air intakes in the hood also lend the California T a further sharpened profile, as do the gill-shaped covers for the side air outlets in the front fenders and the clear-coated carbon-fiber covers for the two exterior mirrors. In addition, there is also a carbon-fiber radiator grille. The sides of the sports car receive some added dynamic lines with the NOVITEC ROSSO rocker panels and side flaps. These aerodynamic-enhancement components also improve the airflow between the front and rear wheel arches. NOVITEC ROSSO offers a clear-coated carbon-fiber roof skin for the folding hardtop of the California T.

NOVITEC ROSSO offers full-blooded motor racing looks with the rear diffuser and the clear-coated carbon-fiber diffuser fins as well. The NOVITEC ROSSO rear spoiler lip upgrades the rear appearance and minimizes lift on the rear axle. A carbon-fiber rear trim panel as well as clear-coated carbon-fiber covers for the tail lamps round out the sporty looks for the Ferrari California T. The NOVITEC ROSSO staggered alloys with diameters of 21 inches at the front and 22 inches at the rear look stunning and enhance the driving dynamics even further. In sizes 9Jx21 at the front and 12Jx22 on the rear axle, the one-piece and especially lightweight NF4 high-tech forged wheels with five double spokes put even more emphasis on the wedge shape of the sports car. Technology partner Pirelli supplies high-performance tires specifically tailored to this vehicle. They are mounted on the front axle in size 255/30 ZR 21. Tires of size 315/25 ZR 22 at the rear provide optimal grip.

The NOVITEC ROSSO sports springs, which lower the ride height of the Ferrari by about 35 millimeters, were designed specifically for this tire/wheel combination. In addition, the suspension specialists developed a feature that makes the California T even better suited for everyday use. The hydraulic front lift system makes it possible to raise the front end by 40 millimeters from inside the cockpit. As a result, entrance ramps of underground parking garages or speed humps are easier to navigate. By slightly pressing the button, or automatically upon reaching a speed of 80 km/h, the front end reverts to its original position. The personal requests of every owner of a Ferrari California T with regard to the interior can also be made reality. Exclusive NOVITEC ROSSO interior appointments crafted from the finest leather and Alcantara captivate with their perfect craftsmanship and the multitude of available upholstery colors and patterns.

Video: Jaguar XK R with high-flow cats.

 Exhaust plays a huge role in your car's performance and personality. We recently had this beautiful black Jaguar XK R at our shop to remove the factory catalytic converters and replace them with special high-flow performance cats.

The rest of the exhaust remains factory, but this little change results in a much deeper tone, less back pressure and a few extra horsepower for this British beast.

ZR Auto at Driven 2015

Join us at Calgary's largest aftermarket tuning show on May 23, 2015. The Driven show takes place at the Olympic Oval from 1-10 p.m.

Jaguar XK R-S GT with RSR livery, exhaust and ECU tune!

This isn't your ordinary Jaguar. It's a rare XK R-S GT, one of only 50 made, and one of a handful in Canada.

The owner wanted to do something completely different to make his car a one-of-a-kind!

Themed after the RSR racing Jaguars, we gave this wild cat a graphics refresh using the KX R-S GT's colour scheme.

We also tuned the ECU through our partners at ECU Tuning Group, outfitted the car with Quicksilver sport exhaust with HJS 200 high-flow cats, high-flow air filters and supercharger pulley upgrade. With 640hp under the hood and a brand new look, this car also needed a more aggressive personality. With a new exhaust added to the car, it's ready to go!

Techart Porsche 911 GT2RS Ready For the Highway!

Our Porsche 911 Turbo has seen many different looks over the years, but this one has to be our favourite! 

Wearing a Techart body kit consisting of the front and rear bumper, side skirts, rear wing, front splitter and mono-bloc wheels, this 911 is already unique, but we wanted something with a bit more of a punch!

We decided to go with a simpler theme this year and gave the white Porsche some sexy red graphics in GT2RS livery.

It's a lot more subtle a design than this car has worn over the past few years, but it looks absolutely perfect!

As for performance upgrades, the Porsche has been upgrades with a 3600 cc Twin Turbo DOHC Flat 6 motor featuring performance Sportec Turbos, remapped for 20+ PSI of boost, fully built block and heads, modified cams, custom intercoolers, upgraded injectors, high-flow stainless exhaust system and upgraded wastegates and blow-off valves. 

As it stands now, the Porsche 996 boasts 714hp and can go from 0-100 km/h in 3.3 seconds with a top speed of 335 km/h.
