Paintless Dent Repair (PDR) at ZR Auto

Paintless dent repair (PDR) is a new service we're offering at ZR Auto. We've had so many requests over the years that we've decided to do the PDR process in-house to get rid of those nasty dents.

Let's face it, nobody is safe from dents. It's an unfortunate reality, but we have to deal with it. Parking lots, shopping carts, hail, rock kickback from that semi truck you're trying to pass, there's infitite ways that dent or ding could have happened, but there's one place you're guaranteed to have the dent removed right. There's various ways to remove dents, but we prefer to use Paintless Dent Repair (PDR) because it's the most effective and most economical method for getting your car dent free!

Our trained PDR team can take care of your dents and make your paint smooth once again. PDR uses a process that doesn't involve repainting your car or doing any procedures to hide the imperfections. We simply pull out the dents and give you that clean, flush look once again.

The extent to which the PDR will be effective depends on multiple factors: if the metal has been stretched by the damage, the cuvature or flatness where the damage occurred and the intensity of the impact.

Generally speaking, the shallower the dent, the greater the likelihood of paintless dent repair being a suitable option. Even dents several inches in diameter can be repaired by this method as long as the metal and paint are not stretched. Our experienced technicians can repair shallow, large or crease dents.

Jaguar XK R-S GT with RSR livery, exhaust and ECU tune!

This isn't your ordinary Jaguar. It's a rare XK R-S GT, one of only 50 made, and one of a handful in Canada.

The owner wanted to do something completely different to make his car a one-of-a-kind!

Themed after the RSR racing Jaguars, we gave this wild cat a graphics refresh using the KX R-S GT's colour scheme.

We also tuned the ECU through our partners at ECU Tuning Group, outfitted the car with Quicksilver sport exhaust with HJS 200 high-flow cats, high-flow air filters and supercharger pulley upgrade. With 640hp under the hood and a brand new look, this car also needed a more aggressive personality. With a new exhaust added to the car, it's ready to go!

1500hp Heffner TT Lamborghini Gallardo Goes Matte Black!

One of our customers from Regina, Saskatchewan, owns an incredible orange Lamborghini Gallardo. What makes it so incredible is the fact that it pushes out 1500hp via a Heffner Twin Turbo package.

The car also wears a special IMSA widebody kit consisting of fenders, side skirts, bumpers, roof scoop, spoiler and more.

But that's not enough for the owner. He likes to change things up with his car, like we do with ours. For 2015 he's ditching the old orange/carbon fibre look and is going with something more mean.

The car is currently being wrapped matte black by our graphics/wrap team and will soon receive some matte orange graphics and accents to make it really pop.

We're excited to reveal the finished product to you all in a week or two. The end-product will be nothing short of spectacular!

Sinister Matte Black Wrapped Mercedes CLA 250 4Matic

We recently saw a brand new Mercedes CLA 250 4Matic arrive at our shop for a complete vinyl wrap to transform the look of the car to set it apart from the rest of Calgary's Mercedes models already on the streets.

After cleaning the paint and cutting the matte black vinyl film, the application process began, and two short days later, the finished car awaits the owner's return.

This car looks mean, plain and simple. Complete with limo tint all the way around, the matte black vinyl wrap really sets this car apart from the rest of the CLA models already on the roads.

New Vinyl Wrap for Novitec Ferrari F430 in Progress!

 When winter rolls in, supercar owners don't have much of a choice when it comes to driving their high-horsepower toys. For us, it's the perfect time to get working on some modifications for the next driving season.

 Our Ferrari F430 has been previously tuned to 707hp using parts from Novitec Rosso, most noticably a twin supercharger system. But with a car this powerful, a strong street presence is needed. This winter we're giving the F430 a new look. Here's a peak at its current state. We think our customers and fans will appreciate the new livery. More details coming soon...

Matte Black Wrap Installation on A Mercedes CLA 250 4Matic

 A new customer of ours just dropped off his Mercedes CLA 250 4Matic for a matte black wrap. We've begun installing the wrap film on the car and have made a lot of progress.

Our wrap team goes the extra mile to ensure a quality fitment of the vinyl wrap into every seam, panel and more.

It's always nice to see a brand new vehicle like the CLA 250 in the shop. We're excited to see how this one will turn out.

Vinyl wrapping is a cheaper and more effective alternative to repainting your car. With a wrap, it not only acts as the new exterior of the vehicle, but it protects the paint underneath from rock chips, snow, debris and more.

VF Engineering Audi R8 Gets A New Look

It's 2015 and big projects are on the horizon! We recently had this 2010 Audi R8 V10 at the shop for a VF Engineering supercharger upgrade. Now it's back to get some visual modifications to give it that aggressive look to match its new high performance output.

Before we installed the supercharger, the R8 was already outfitted with a Capristo valved exhaust system, ADV.1 wheels, lowering module and a Stasis ECU tune. We've since beefed up the performance output to 800hp to the crank with the VF Engineering supercharger, intercooler and ECU software upgrades.

After taking his new monster for a drive, the owner decided he wanted the car to look the part. Using our high-quality Suntek matte paint protection film, we wrapped the entire car, giving it that extra sinister finish. Next we added gloss stripes from the nose to the tail to give it some added flare.
