No doubt you've been seeing photos and videos of our Ferrari Enzo ZXX surfacing on the internet over the past few days. The car was shipped to Ahlen, Germany, a few months ago for some special modifications.
Edo Competition owner, Edo Karabegovic, took our ZXX to the Gran Turismo Spa event in Belgium to baseline test the car's current settings before installing some new performance parts.
The event, held at the Spa-Francorchamps race track, that many say is the best in the world, allows the best supercars in the world to have free-reign of the track for two full days. Our ZXX was right at home.
Apparently our ZXX is too loud for the Spa-Francorchamps, so it was promptly kicked off the track. This isn't the first time our flagship car has been forced off a famous raceway due to noise violations.
The noise bylaws don't apply to the access roads and parking lots, so Edo took the opportunity to do a few smokey doughnuts in the ZXX before returning the car back to his shop in Ahlen.
A few people have asked us if we're okay with the hooning of our beloved ZXX. If there's one man we trust with the car, it's Edo Karabegovic, the man responsible for the car's creation.
The car is undergoing some pretty major changes over the next few weeks, so be ready for a beastly new animal to be born. The changes are all mechanical, so the ZXX will look the same upon its return. But it might have some new bragging rights! Stay tuned for more!
For more than 10 years our partners at IMSA have astonished the world with performance tuning sensations The team, led by Holger Mohr, has devoted themselves mostly to Lamborghini, developing performance and styling kits for cars around the world.
Thanks to traditional relations with Mercedes, IMSA now has the pleasure of working on the S63 AMG.
IMSA's S63 L 4-Matic is an incredible car! There's the company's own lowering module for the sedan, followed by a wheel-tire-combination consisting of IMSA forged light-alloy rims in 9x21 in. with 255/35R21tires on the front and 10,5x21 in. wheels with 295/30R21 tires on the rear.
Now for the performance! IMSA produces a unique software upgrade for the S63 AMG, has added sport cats and a modified x-cross central muffler on the exhaust system. They've added their own air cooler and sports air filters. Still remaining the downpipes and the turbocharger outlet for optimized air flow rate and the intercooler radiator.
Additionally, the downpipes and the turbocharger outlet have been modified for optimized air flow rate. The intercooler and radiator have also been modified.
As a result, the IMSA S63 L AMG produces a whopping 820 HP with 1,160 Nm of torque. In the future, IMSA will develop complete tuning programs for selected Mercedes-Benz product line models with focus on the AMG line.

Where is the Ferrari ZXX you might ask? Clearly it's not in the showroom or the shop. It's not even in Calgary, or Canada for that matter. Right now the world's only street legal Ferrari FXX is in Ahlen, Germany, under the care of Edo Competition.
The car is currently having some work done by our good friend Edo Karabegovic and his team to make the ZXX more of a street-friendly machine. It's not getting any power upgrades this time around. The focus of the car's visit to its creators is to refine the suspension and handling components so the car can be driven more comfortably in 2015. Believe us, it's going to be driven!
The car has been at Edo Competition's headquarters for the better part of two months so far and will remain there for a while longer before it returns back home to ZR Auto. For now though, it's in good company!
